To help you build your dream FIFA 16 Ultimate Team(s), we will be providing you with proven and EXCLUSIVE coin making methods / trading tips throughout FUT 16! The first coin making method in this YEAR LONG series will be one of the FUTers’ favourites, “The Mass Bidding Method”. Many of you may have a solid understanding of this method if you have read our Mass Bidding guide from FUT 15… However this step-by-step free guide will provide you with up to date tips and examples to help you succeed while using it! This method works on all platforms (the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Playstation 4 and on PC!).
So guys,we are using fifa15 as an example because fifa16 is yet not released. So thios fifa 16 guide will help you to earn coins in fifa 16.
We have decided to show trading examples using the FUT 15 Web App, but the method will works equally well using FIFA 16 on your console. Although this method can be successfully implemented using the standard 30 Transfer Target slots and Transfer List (as shown), we advise you to visit the EASFC Catalogue and purchase all of the unlocked ‘FUT Increased Transfer Targets Pile Size’ and ‘FUT Increased Transfer List Size’ items. If an item is locked, and you are therefore unable to purchase it, try finding a friend who has reached the required level and ask them if they will gift this item to you.
The beauty of the Mass Bidding Method is that it can be used with any club, and works well with many players (our preference) or some consumables, at most price ranges. However, the experienced traders will know that with the majority of coin making methods there are strict guidelines to follow, or you could potentially lose yourself a lot of coins, or time… We’ll address all of these guidelines shortly!
Definition of Mass Bidding;
“Mass Bidding is the process of carefully selecting a player on the Transfer Market (who is listed in large quantities) and then immediately bidding your maximum amount of FUT 16 Coins on as many of that player as possible to maintain a profit (preferably where the listing ends within an hour). Your max bid is based on your selected players’ proven Buy Now price.”
For EXCLUSIVE FUT 16 Coin Making tips:
Step-by-step Summary:
- Pick a popular player, listed in high volume.
- Check your chosen player’s latest Buy Now / bid price by adding several to your Transfer Targets.
- Calculate your profitable maximum mass bid price for that player.
- Mass bid on as many of your chosen player as possible up until an hour.
- Clear your Transfer Targets, and send all won auctions to your Transfer List.
- List the players you have won on the Transfer Market for their going Buy Now price.
* Remember to account for the 5% EA tax on all sales!!
Having difficulty winning auctions?: If you are finding it difficult to win players at even small profit margins, it is likely that a like-minded FUTer is bidding on the same player as you. In this case you have 3 options; firstly increase your max bid and make around 5% profit margins to put them off bidding in future, secondly wait until a later time in the day, or lastly search for another player you can consistently make decent coins on! We strongly advise you spend time tweaking your profit margins on a set of players (at different price ranges) to test which work best for you!
Tips:
- If you are attempting to sell players whilst you are sleeping or you’re not at the Web App / Console for long periods of time, we advise listing players for 6 / 12 hour Transfer Durations.
- If you happen to see underpriced Buy Now listings while you are re-searching the players Buy Now value, buy them instantly and re-list them at the current market value to help yours sell at the higher price.
- This method will only work if you DO NOT get involved in bid wars. If you have been outbid, simply forget about it and move on. Re-adjusting prices will become very time consuming, regardless if you would still be making a profit. In the long run this time spent will not be worth the coins made.
The Proof:
Note: It is NOT recommended you use Nagatomo as shown in the example. Now we have shown how to implement this coin making method with Nagatomo, it is likely that a lot of FUTers will try and replicate this, thus making it very difficult to make coins. All prices shown below are for the Playstation, and will likely fluctuate.
Player Buy Now price of 900 coins (coin total requirement: 20k-50k):
1, 2, 3 & 4. Just to prove how easy it is to use this method, we randomly selected a fairly popular player (Yuto Nagatomo of Inter Milan) currently consistently selling at 800 FUT 15 coins, Buy Now. Deducting 5% EA tax (40 coins), we would receive 760 coins for successfully selling him at 800 coins. Therefore, looking to make a conservative 7-8% per sale (60 coins), we decided to test out how many Nagatomos we would win by bidding 700 coins on as many up until an hour as possible;
5. As you will be able to see in our Transfer Targets, we were winning on average 30-40% of the auctions at 700 coins (whilst regularly clearing the Transfer Targets to make space for new players). You can obviously list players right from the Transfer Targets, but we prefer sending items to the Transfer List.
6. The next step is to re-check your players going Buy Now price and list them up on a 1 hour Transfer Duration (if they do not sell, then re-list them). It’s important you do this as the market can fluctuate. However, we advise you only use this method while the market is stable, or you feel their supply has temporarily increased (obviously holding demand constant). This ensures you make the maximum amount of coins, consistently.
After checking the market we saw that around 6 cards were listed at 800 coins, making us fairly certain that the majority of ours would sell within the hour.
You should look to use this method continuously with other players at the same time. Waiting up to 1 hour for players to sell is not optimal. This is why it’s important to up your Transfer List size! As you can see below; all 13 Nagatomos sold for 800 coins Buy Now!
Which items does this method work with?
As you will have seen we pretty much randomly selected a player worth between 500-1000 coins. The method works with players / consumables that are listed in high volume, and are relatively popular. Although we have not shown that it works with consumables, we did test this with the Anchor Chemistry Style, picking several up for 950 coins, and were able to successfully sell them for 1,100 coins! The reason you should look for players / consumables listed in high volume is that it will increase your chances of winning auctions due to less competition. This method will work equally well with non-rares! For those of you with more coins, you can use this method with significantly more expensive players (even 10k+). We felt it would be unnecessary to repeat the method examples for more expensive players, as the same guidelines apply, regardless of the price of the player.
Conclusion – How much have we made?
After 10-15 minutes, all 13 of our Nagatomo cards had sold, bagging us 13×60 coins = 780 coins profit. In total we spent a couple of minutes randomly searching for the player (it just happened to be a Gold rare), a couple of minutes bidding on as many of Nagatomo at 700 coins as possible (with a Transfer Targets size of 30), and finally a couple of minutes re-checking his Buy Now price / listing him. In under 10 minutes we made 780 coins with 7-8% profit margins! If our Transfer Targets and Transfer List size had been increased for the making of this guide we could have made significantly more, but wanted to show it could be done with a limit of 30!
There are certain players / consumables you will be able to make significantly greater profit margins on, but with many you will likely win less auctions. The skill here is weighing up the percentage of auctions won, to the profit margin percentages and thus why we feel roughly 10% is a successful margin to make on each trade. The trade off between time spent trading and coins made, is a fairly big factor to most FUTers!
We hope that this guide has simply shown you how to execute the Mass Bidding method to successfully make coins! Has this method helped you out? We’d appreciate any feedback you have in the comments section below…
